Tourist or entry visa procedures while a Expat having GCC resident visa traveling to Oman

Entry Visa for Non-GCC National Expats  IN Oman

Visa will be issued for Non-GCC National Expats having residence visa in GCC Countries as tourist visa. Applicable through all entries to Sultanate of oman and only for approved professions without sponsor. Their first degree relatives and who ever under expats sponsorship (drivers, maids with your legal sponsorship also eligible) to get an Entry visa for tourist purpose when travelling together. 
  • Valid for use: for a period of four weeks extendable for one week.
  • Fees: R.O. 5. 
  • Delay fines R.O. 10 for every day .
     (Dirham to Omani Rial : 1 AED = 0.10470 OMR)



Conditions:
  • Need to fill visa application at border post and submit to staff with all your documents  
  • Valid Residence Visa of GCC
  • Profession should be in their list. 
  • Passport should be valid for  6 months  or more  .
  • All nationalities resident in GCC are benefit from these facilities.

Eid Al Adha 2016 Holidays announced

Abu Dhabi – September 4th, 2016 The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has declared Sunday, September 11th, 2016 a public holiday in celebration of Arafa Day and Eid Al Adha, private sector employee shall enjoy a 3-day paid holiday till Tuesday, September 13th.
Following Article No. 74 of the Federal Law No.8 of 1980 concerning labour relations, H.E Saqr Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation declared a three days holiday, combining both occasions, Arafa Day and Eid Al Adha.
H.E the Minister sent his sincere regards to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan UAE President and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and their Highnesses Rulers of the seven Emirates.
Ghobash praised the people of the UAE and the residents on this occasion, wishing the UAE, all Arab and Islamic nations more pride, glory, further progress and prosperity.
