Echo Point – reviews from tripadvisor.com
Echo point is one of the points we visited which is on the way to mettupatty dam.
More than an echo point it was a small shopping street facing a small lake with a hill in front of it. One has to scream extremely loudly to get any type of echo back. This point is just a man made point rather than a natural echo point like the ones you get in Mahabalashwar or Matheran. I guess i would have got a better echo in the tea gardens of munnar. Not worth going here but if it falls on the way then might as well try your screaming ability.

Dirty and crowded”
Echo Point
Your voice wont echo at echo point, as it has become to crowded, and all you will hear will be a cacophony of voices..
We heard that it was a nice place 5-10 years ago, but now many shops have sprung up, too many people littering everywhere as there were no dustbins in sight.
Best to be avoided.
