from Abu dhabi it is Around 350 Kms through Ibri Border
From Dubai if you travel through Hatta - Sohar then it will be 450 -500 KMs (even Al Ain Sohar Muscat Nizwa will be 400-450 KMS)
And it is worth to visit as package with Jebal Shams and Jebal Akthar. Also Nizwa Old city is very good to roam around.
